Advices for Gaza Residents during the Current Heat-Wave
Community development and youth support

The Ministry of Health in Gaza advised the residents to reduce movement and not be exposed to sunlight or exercise during daylight hours. This call comes because of the very high temperatures and its direct effects on the health, as the body losses fluids and this causes tiredness during fasting. Weather today in Gaza is partly cloudy and the heat-wave that hit Palestine yesterday continues raising temperature to (13 - 15) °C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD). The weather remains very hot in most regions and winds are light to moderate, easterly to southeasterly, and sea waves are low.
